'Cuse Travels South to Binghamton Wednesday

Syracuse (4-6, 0-1 ACC) travels to Binghamton (6-4, 0-0 America East) on Wednesday night for the final road nonconference game of 2024 for the Orange. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. (ESPN+) and is the second game of a doubleheader with Binghamton's men's basketball vs. Mercyhurst. Fans unable to make it to Vestal, N.Y., for the game can stream it online or through the ESPN app.

The Orange enter Wednesday's game after a 10-day hiatus between games due to finals week on campus. Syracuse last played on Dec. 8, a 93-62 loss in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener against #10 Notre Dame. Keira Scott led the Orange in scoring against the Fighting Irish with 16 points, career-high, while Iza Varejao had a team-best 10 rebounds.

Binghamton secured a 64-62 win over in-state foe Siena on Sunday and has won of four of its last five games. The Bearcats were led by Yanniah Boyd with a career-high 20 points. Binghamton leads the America East with 10.2 steals per game and rank third in league scoring with 62.3 points per game.

'Cuse leads the all-time series 8-1, most recently defeating Binghamton, 92-59, at the JMA Wireless Dome on Nov. 14, 2022, during Felisha Legette-Jack's first season as head coach of the Orange. Binghamton's lone win was a 74-52 decision at the Dome on Dec. 17, 2005.
