
Orange Wrap Up Nonconference Slate Saturday

The Syracuse women's basketball team (5-6, 0-1 ACC) closes out nonconference play on Saturday morning when the Orange host Dartmouth (5-6, 0-0 Ivy League) at 11 a.m. at the JMA Wireless Dome. It's Otto's Kids Club Day at the Dome, fans can enjoy kid-friendly activities and on court promotions during the game. The game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) with AJ Myers, Caleb Spinner and Kay Racine on the call.Â
Syracuse is coming off an 87-60 road win at Binghamton on Wednesday night. Georgia Woolley led the Orange in scoring with 18 points going 6-for-10 from the field. She was joined in double figure scoring by Journey Thompson (12 points), Sophie Burrows (11 points) and Izabel Varejao (11 points) in the victory. Dominique Camp had eight assists marking the third time this season she's logged eight or more assists in a game. As a unit, the Orange had a strong defensive effort blocking 10 shots and forcing 21 Bearcat turnovers.Â
Dartmouth is entering Saturday's game fueled by a 60-47 road win at Lafayette on Wednesday night. The Big Green was led by Victoria Page with 15 points and five rebounds while Dartmouth's Clare Meyer had a game-high 14 rebounds in her 11-point double double performance.Â
Saturday is the sixth meeting between the two teams. Syracuse leads the all-time series 5-0 dating back to the first meeting in 1981 when SU defeated the Big Green 82-76. Last time they met, 'Cuse earned a 39-point win over Dartmouth, 88-47, at the Carrier Dome on Nov. 14, 2013.Â
