Track Set for 3 Weekend Meets

The Syracuse track and field teams are set for a busy weekend, with three meets awaiting Orange competitors.

Action begins on Friday at the Harvard Crimson Elite. On Saturday, the Boston University Scarlet and White Invite and the Utica Fast Trax Invite will be taking place.

Orange Entries:
Kaleia Arrington, Olivia Garner, Kahniya James and Peyton Rollins will start the racing at 3:40 p.m. in the women's 60-meter dash. The men will follow 30 minutes later and feature James Nmah and Daijon Richards.

The hurdles will follow, with Taleea Buxton, Shaleah Colaire and Rollins racing for the women, followed by Emanuel Joseph, David Peters, Isaiah Lewis, Naseem Smith and Xayvion Perkins.

Beginning at 6:40 p.m., Elijah Mallard, Perkins and Nmah will race in the 400-meter dash.

UTICA FAST TRAX INVITE

Orange Entries:
Kirstyn Schechter, CJ Fox, Olivia Etienvre and Samuel Mutiso will race in the 60-meter hurdles events to open things up.

Morgan Marshall will then compete in the 60-meter dash.

The women's mile will feature Tess Fitzmaurice, Kayla Harding, Lucy Zombek, Taylor Mascetta, Madeline Lutz, Olivia Shattuck, Reilly Zink, Bethany Steiner, Leah Futey and Caroline Kirby.

Ariel Haywood and Shayla Ford will compete in the 400-meter dash.

Then, Lutz, Mascetta and Lizzie Bigelow are also entered in the 800-meter run.

The day will conclude with the 3,000-meter run, which has Zombek, Futey, Fitzmaurice, Steiner, Shattuck and Kirby entered.
