The Orange doubled its lead off consecutive doubles from sophomore Madison Knight and Pess in the fourth before junior Kelly Breen singled home Jasso in the fifth for the insurance marker.
Hendrix surrender a pair of singles in the sixth but was able to escape the jam with a double play and foul out to Pess in left. Lewinski took over for the southpaw in the circle in her first Division I game, earning the save in a 1-2-3 frame.
