Thursday racing will begin with the 400-meter hurdles. At 5:25 p.m., Shaleah Colaire will race for the women, followed 20 minutes later by Xayvion Perkins and Elijah Mallard for the men.
A busier day will follow on Friday. At 1:20 p.m., the women's 4x100-meter relay championships will kick off the 'Cuse action. Colaire, Kitana Burgard, Peyton Rollins and Kahniya James are entered for the women. The men are nearly a half hour later, with a team of James Nmah, Jaheem Hayles, Anthony Vazquez and Trei Thorogood racing.
Nine teams from each relay event will qualify for Saturday's final.
Colaire and Taleea Buxton will then race in the 100-meter hurdles at 3:35, with the winner of each heat, plus the next five fastest overall times advancing to Saturday's final. The men's 110-meter hurdles has the deepest entry field for 'Cuse, with Hayles, Vazquez, Naseem Smith and Emanuel Joseph all racing. They will also look to qualify for Saturday's final under the same guidelines.
The 100-meter dash will have Thorogood representing the men on Friday afternoon, and Burgard and James racing for the women. Both races feature the same heat and finals qualifications as the hurdles.
