Orange Tennis Begin Play In NCAA Individual Championships

STILLWATER, Okla. – Members of the Syracuse women's tennis team begin play in the NCAA Individual Championships this week at the Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Miyuka Kimoto is set for the first round of the singles bracket and the pair of Kimoto and Viktoriya Kanapatskaya will begin action in the first round of the doubles bracket.

Kimoto's first matchup in the round of 64 will be against Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20. The winner of this round will advance to face the victor of North Carolina's Carson Tanguilig and Ohio State's Luciana Perry in the round of 32. The doubles duo of Kimoto and Kanapatskaya will begin tournament play on Tuesday, May 21. They are set to take on Mia Kupres and Mary Stoiana of Texas A&M.
