Adamson, Ward Earn Preseason All-America Honors

SPARKS, Maryland – Syracuse senior Olivia Adamson and graduate student Emma Ward are members of USA Lacrosse Magazine's Preseason All-America Team announced on Wednesday, January 22.

Adamson was named to the Second Team after recording career highs in goals (58), assists (25) and points (83) last season. She recorded four or more points in 12 contests, including five games with six points. Adamson earned IWLCA All-America Third Team honors in 2024 and was selected to the All-Northeast Region and All-ACC First Team.

Ward, who earned preseason Third Team honors, led the team in assists last season with 37 and was third in points with 81. She earned honorable mention All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse and US Lacrosse Magazine and was voted to the All-Northeast Region First Team and All-ACC Second Team. In addition, Ward earned a spot on the ACC All-Tournament Team. She posted five or more points in six games in 2024.
