SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University women's ice hockey team freshman Ava Drabyk has been named the AHA Goaltender of the Week. The Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon.
This is the second week in a row Drabyk has earned an AHA honor and her first as Goaltender of the Week.
The distinction comes after the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native appeared in two games and posted a 1-1-0 record in a home-and-home series against RIT. Drabyk finished the week with a .919 save percentage, a 2.57 goals-against average, and finished second in the conference with 57 saves. She currently has the second-most saves in AHA with 243 on the season.
