Ward, Adamson Named to Tewaaraton Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Syracuse graduate student Emma Ward and senior Olivia Adamson are members of the 2025 Tewaaraton Award Watch List, which was announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Thursday, Feb. 6. The duo is among 50 players named to the watch list for the award that recognizes the top player in college lacrosse.

Ward returns for her fifth season with the Orange. She led the team in assists last season with 37 to go along with a career-high 44 goals. Ward recorded five or more points in six games in 2024 and earned honorable mention All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse and US Lacrosse Magazine. In addition, Ward was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team.

Adamson had a breakout season in 2024, recording career highs in goals (58), assists (25) and points (83). She earned third-team All-America accolades from the IWLCA and was voted to the All-Northeast Region and All-ACC First Team.
