Orange Ranked #11 In CRCA Poll

After a strong start to the season at the B1G/ACC/Ivy Dual, Syracuse checked in at #11 in this week's CRCA Coaches Poll, which was released on March 25. The Orange won six races on Saturday against #10 Michigan, #12 Penn and #15 Ohio State to open their 2025 campaign.
Of Syracuse's six victories over the weekend, two came from the second varsity eight, which was selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference's Crew of the Week on Tuesday. Senior coxswain April Serrano steered the boat that included Clothilde Marcelot, Kelsey Boswell, Rosie Turnbull, Rachel Weber, Minaya Bishop, Charlotte Ebel, Georgia Kaufman and Ella McKinley.
The Orange were one of seven ACC teams in this week's poll. Stanford remained at the No. 2 spot with Cal also in the top 10 at No. 8. Virginia (13th), Duke (14th), North Carolina (19th) and Notre Dame (20th) also appeared in the rankings. Texas maintained its No. 1 ranking with 2,965 points.
Syracuse returns to the water on Saturday, April 5 for the Cayuga Cup against #6 Yale and Cornell in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
