Syracuse Returns To #10 In CRCA Poll

Syracuse moved up a spot to #10 in this week's CRCA Coaches Poll, which was released on April 1.
The Orange were previously ranked #10 in the first two polls of the season before dropping to #11 in last week's edition following the B1G/ACC/Ivy Dual, their debut event of the season. Syracuse won seven races on March 22 against Michigan, Penn and Ohio State, all of whom are ranked in this week's top 15. Syracuse's second varsity eight was also named ACC Crew of the Week on March 25 after notching a pair of victories at the event.
Syracuse joined six other ACC teams in this week's rankings. Stanford held steady at the No. 2 spot with Cal also in the top 10 at No. 8. Virginia (11th), Duke (14th), North Carolina (20th) and Notre Dame (25th) also earned a spot in the poll. Texas stayed atop the rankings with 2,942 points.
The Orange return to the water on Saturday for the Cayuga Cup against #6 Yale and Cornell in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
