RECEIVING CORPS RANKS AMONG NATION'S BEST
• Syracuse once again boasts one of the top receiving units in the nation.Â
• WR Justus Ross-Simmons is tied for second in the nation in receiving touchdowns with five. He is one of only two ACC players who have caught multiple touchdown passes in two games this season. The other is Clemson's Bryant Wesco Jr.
• WR Darrell Gill has three touchdown receptions this season, which ranks 19th nationally. In addition, his 22.14 yards per catch is good for 15th in the nation and second in the conference. Gill also ranks fifth in the ACC and 27th in the nation in receiving yards (310).
• WR Johntay Cook became the latest 'Cuse receiver to record 100 yards receiving in a game. He caught six passes for a career-high 113 yards at Clemson.
• Syracuse is the only team in the ACC to have three 100-yard receiving performances this season.
SERIES HISTORY
• Syracuse and Duke will meet for the sixth time overall and the first time since the 2020 season.
• The Blue Devils own a 4-1 lead in the all-time series. Duke has won two of the three meetings between the squads since Syracuse joined the ACC.
• The teams met in back-to-back seasons in 1938 and 1939 and then didn't face off again until they became conference foes in the ACC.
A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN
• Syracuse has thrown for at least 250 yards in 17 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the FBS. The next closest is Texas Tech with eight.Â
• It's also the longest such streak by an ACC team since Florida State had 17 straight spanning 1999 and 2000.
EVERY 'CUSE CLICK COUNTS
• Can't make it to the Dome? You can catch Saturday's game on ACCN.Â
• There are more ways than ever that fans can have a direct financial impact on Syracuse Athletics, one of which is by making sure you watch every game you can't attend. Television ratings now have an impact on revenue distribution in the ACC. Make sure you're always watching the Orange, whether from the Dome or at home, because Every 'Cuse Click Counts.
A WIN WOULD …Â
• Extend Syracuse's winning streak to four, which would tie for the longest for the Orange under the direction of head coach Fran Brown.
• Move Syracuse to 9-1 at home over the past two seasons.
• Give Syracuse its 768th all-time victory (includes 11 wins from 2004-06 that were vacated by the NCAA). The Orange currently rank 21st on the FBS ledger of winningest programs. Syracuse is one of 37 FBS schools to have accumulated 700+ wins.
