Syracuse stars Emma Muchnick and Coco Vandiver have each been named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, which is lacrosse's most prestigious award.
Founded in 2001, The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.
Muchnick, a Preseason All-American and All-ACC selection, is in her senior season with the Orange. A midfielder for Team USA this offseason, Muchnick was an All-American and all-conference selection in 2025 after registering 41 points and 31 goals. Her goals tally led the team last season.
Vandiver, also a Preseason All-American and All-ACC selection, finished last season with the second-most caused turnovers (40) in a single season in program history. She is also in her senior year.
Syracuse hosts No. 1 North Carolina on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the conference opener. Tickets are available at Cuse.com/Lacrosse-Tickets.
