5/14/2026 9:18:00 AM | Men's Rowing
The Syracuse men's rowing team will send four eights to the IRA Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 17, at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass., with racing set to begin in the morning hours.
Fans unable to attend in person can watch live coverage through Overnght, a subscription-based streaming service, and follow live results here.
The Orange open the day in the 4V8 at 8 a.m., drawing lane 3 against Princeton, Dartmouth, Yale, Northeastern and Columbia. The top three finishers from each heat will advance to the final.
Syracuse's Varsity Eight follows at 8:40 a.m. in lane 3, going up against Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell and Holy Cross in what figures to be one of the most competitive heats of the morning. The 2v8 takes the water at 10 a.m. from lane 1, facing Dartmouth, Cornell, Boston University and Georgetown -- all crews the Orange have raced previously this season, before the 3v8 closes out SU's morning slate at 10:10 a.m. in lane 2 against Harvard, Northeastern, Navy and Holy Cross.
In all three events outside the 4v8, the top two finishers from each heat will earn a spot in the afternoon final. Finals racing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with lane assignments and the full field in each event determined by the morning heat results.
