The team finished the year with a 1-4 record. At the Regional SU placed two athletes in the top 5 in Tumbling; Phil Voas won the event while Ron Orlick finished 4th. Also competing in the Easterns were Ray Grimaldi (3rd Side Horse) and Bob Winter (1st Rope Climb).

The team finished with a mark of 5-1-1. At the EIGL Championships, Phil Voas placed 1st in Tumbling, 1st in Trampoline, 2nd in Long Horse Vaulting and 3rd in the Floor Exercise. Ron Orlick (1st Long Horse, 6th Floor Exercise), Ray Grimaldi (2nd Side Horse), Carl Poplar (2nd Parallel Bars) and Rolf Leinger (6th Side Horse) also competed at the Regional Championships.

This year's squad finished 7-0 and captured the Eastern Championship. Bringing home Individual honors from the EIGL Championships were: Phil Voas (Champion in Tumbling and Floor Exercise; 3rd in Long Horse Vaulting and Still Rings), Ray Grimaldi (Champion in Side Horse and Still Rings), Sid Oglesby (Champion in Long Horse Vaulting, 3rd in Tumbling), Ron Orlick (2nd Long Horse Vaulting) and Carl Poplar (2nd Parallel Bars).

The team finished 3rd in the NCAA Championship. Individually, Oglesby finished 2nd in the Long Horse Vaulting competition, Grimaldi took 4th in Long Horse Vaulting and Voas, who tied Grimaldi in 4th for Long Horse, also placed 3rd in Tumbling and 9th in Floor Exercise.

The team finished the season with a 4-3 mark.  At the EIGL Championships, Sid Oglesby tied for 1st place in the Long Horse Vaulting competition while also finishing 2nd in the Parallel Bars, 2nd in Tumbling, and 3rd in Floor Exercise. Meanwhile, Carl Poplar had top-6 finishes in the Parallel Bars, Still Rings and All Around competitions.Â

The team ended with a 5-3 record. Ray Walters won the Still Rings competition at the Eastern Regionals

SU finished the year with a 4-4 record. Terry Orlick was the Eastern Regional Champion in the Trampoline competition. Brian McKinney (4th Floor Exercise), Dennis Engel (7th Trampoline) and Bellavia (7th Long Horse Vaulting) also competed at the EIGL's.

Syracuse finished the season with 2-6 record. Dennis Engel (2nd Floor Exercise, 4th Long Horse Vaulting), Ray Walters (2nd Still Rings), Brian McKinney (3rd Floor Exercise), Ted Edwards (6th Still Rings) and Terry Orlick (6th Trampoline) all represented SU well at the EIGL Championships.

The team ended the year with a 3-6 record. Dennis Engel finished 2nd in the Floor Exercise and 4th in the Long Horse Vaulting at the EIGL individual Championships.

SU ended the season with a 2-6 record. George Statler finished 3rd in Still Rings and Tony DeStefano finished 4th in the Side Horse at the EIGL Championships.

Syracuse compiled a 2-7 mark with George Statler finishing 4th in the Still Rings and Tony DeStefano finishing 5th in the Side Horse competition at the EIGL Championships which were held at Syracuse University.

Although the team finished with a 2-7 record, George Statler won the Still Rings competition at the Eastern Championships and placed 5th in the NCAA's.

With a 6-6 record, SU finished 6th in the EIGL. Greg Collis was champion of the Pommel Horse competition at the Eastern Championships, while Dan O'Connor finished 6th in the Still Rings competition.

In Walt Dodge's first year, the team finished with a 7-2 mark. Rich Roberts, Bill Aleksoveski, Lou Figliola, Bill Courbanou, Jon Bean, Steve Chilinski and Ed Saunders all represented Syracuse in the East Regional Championships.

The team finished the year with a 6-5 record and, with a score of 253.95, finished third in the Easterns. Mike Calcutti led the team, tying for the first in the Floor Exercise at the Regional Championship. Also competing individually at the Easterns were: Bill Aleksovski, Ed Saunders, Brad Sullivan, Steve Chilinski, Ron Tibet, Mike Trnka and Scott Gibbs. Saunders also competed in the NCAA tournament where he finished 47 in the Pommel Horse competition.

With a record of 8-3, the Orangemen tied for 3rd in the Easterns. Mike Calcutti, Brad Sullivan, Tony Fiacchi, Lou Figliola, Scott Gibbs, Gary Simon and Bill Aleksovski all represented SU in various individual competitions.

The Orangemen post a record of 9-3 and qualify for the Easterns. Mike Calcutti placed 7th in the Eastern All Around competition, while Brad Sullivan went to the NCAA tournament for the Pummel Horse competition but did not qualify.

With a record of 7-1 the Syracuse team finishes ranked 16th in the national polls. By winning the vaulting title at the NCAA Championships, Jason Herbert becomes the first gymnast from S.U. to win a national championship since 1964.

The 8-2 team is the second team in school history to qualify for the NCAA Regional Championships. At the EIGL Championships three Orangemen bring home five titles. Jason Hebert won on the parallel bars and tied on the horizontal bar and floor exercise, Ofri Porat won on the vault, and Rich Kuenzler won on the pommel horse.
