Senior Year (2011): Played in all 17 games as a defensive midfielder … Part of a Syracuse unit that ranked third nationally in scoring defense (6.90 goals per game) and set a school record for man-down defense efficiency, leading the nation at 81.7 percent … Contributed two goals, 14 ground balls and nine caused turnovers on the year … Also went 3-for-8 (.375) at the faceoff X … Collected a ground ball and won a critical faceoff in the fourth quarter to help SU hold off Army, 11-9 … Scored the first goal of his career and picked up a season-high two ground balls versus Albany … Also won a faceoff and forced a turnover against the Great Danes … Recorded one goal, one ground ball and went 1-for-5 (.200) at the faceoff X versus Duke at the Konica Minolta Big City Classic … Caused a career-best two turnovers and picked up one ground ball at the ESPNU Warrior Classic against Rutgers … Matched his season high with two ground balls in consecutive games versus St. John’s and Siena (NCAA).
