Liz Dennison returns to the Syracuse area after spending four years as a member of the Georgetown team. Dennison is a native of Fayetteville and went to high school at nearby Fayetteville-Manlius.
At Georgetown, Dennison was a four-year member with the crew team. She was elected captain during her junior and senior seasons and was named to the team most valuable player following the 2005-06 season. Dennison also earned the Greg Carroll Spirit Award after the 2004-05 season.
During high school, Dennison rowed for the Cazenovia Rowing Club, where she was named team captain and MVP. She has coached both youth and masters rowing at the club from 2002 until 2006.
Dennison graduated from Georgetown in May of 2006 with a degree in foreign service. She is currently a masters degree in public administration and international relations at Syracuse’s Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs.
