Bruce Eugene, two-time SWAC Offensive Player of the Year at Grambling State, enters his second season as a member of the Syracuse football scouting department in 2026.
Eugene has previously served as the quarterbacks coach at Alcorn State while making stops at the high school level. He won the 2015 PSAL football city championship at the highest level while at Grand Street Campus in Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to his coaching days, Eugene threw for 13,513 yards and 140 touchdowns at Grambling State. In his final season in 2005, he threw for 4,360 yards, 56 touchdowns and just six interceptions as he led the Tigers to an 11-1 record and SWAC Champions.
