SU Tennis Posts a Win and Then a Loss at the ECAC Championship

The Orangewomen won five of their six singles matches against James Madison. At No. 1 singles, sophomore Daniela Kaluskova (Prague, Czech/ Gym Budejovicka) defeated Liz Simon, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1. At No. 2 singles, junior Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia/ School #528) defeated Marjie Zesinger 6-2, 1-6, 6-1. Kabanova teamed with junior Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA/ Calabasas) at No. 1 doubles. The SU pair defeated Simon and Zesinger 8-2.
Syracuse won two of its three doubles matches against Boston University. At No. 2 doubles, Kaluskova and sophomore Zani Suttle (Roswell, GA/ Centennial) defeated BU's Hannon Bartell and Elisa Glas 8-7. At No. 3 doubles, sophomore Jessica Schlosser (Nedrow, NY/ CBA) and freshman Kristine Holte (Oslo, Norway/ Fagerborg vgs.) defeated Sylvia Guglielmi and Alana Marcu 8-7. The Terries won five of the six singles matches with the Orangewomen.
