Kabanova Notches 100th Win

QUEENS, N.Y. ? Junior Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia/School #528) won two matches at St. John's giving her 100 career wins. The Orangewomen defeated the Red Storm, 7-0. The Orangewomen are 5-3 this season.

Kabanova is the 22nd Orangewoman to win 100-career matches in the 32-year history of the program. Kabanova is 24-20 this season and her career record is 100-68. At No. 1 singles she defeated Nataliya Kostova, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. Kabanova teamed with junior Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA/Calabasas) at No. 1 doubles. The pair posted an 8-3 win against Kostova and Tessa Lewis.

Syracuse's next match is at Yale on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
