BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Syracuse University women's tennis team lost, 6-1, to Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla. on Wednesday, March 13. Syracuse is 5-8 this spring, while Florida Atlantic is 8-4.
Sophomore Marion Charlier (Rabat Morocco/Rabat American School) posted the Orangewomen's lone win. Charlier defeated Jessica Burrow, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (10-8) at No. 6 singles. Charlier has won two of her last three singles matches.
Syracuse's next match is against Florida International. The Orangewomen take on the Golden Panthers on Friday, March 15 at noon in Boca Raton. Florida International is 10-3 on the year and ranked 29th in the country.
