The Orangewomen won each of the three doubles matches by scores of 8-1 to take that point. In singles, SU defeated the Red Storm in straight sets at every flight except No. 2. In that match, Syracuse senior Masha Kabanova beat Kristina Bothora, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2, to move into a tie for fifth place on SU's career wins ledger. Kabanova has 149 wins in her four years as an Orangewoman, and she needs one victory to move past Michelle Neveklovska (1997-01), and three to enter a tie for fourth place with Stephanie Rice (1983-87).
Syracuse returns to action Sunday, April 13, when it takes on Army in SU's last match of the regular season.
