Sang-Bender Named Female Scholar-Athlete Of The Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior Nana Sang-Bender, a distance runner for the cross country team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 5.
Sang-Bender, a Syracuse, N.Y., native, has been a BIG EAST Academic All-Star every year and a member of the Athletic Directors Honor Roll all four semesters. Sang-Bender is majoring in international relations.
The cross country team competes at the NCAA Regional Championship on Saturday in Boston, Mass.
