ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Jillian Drouin captured the heptathlon crown with an NCAA Provisional-qualifying tally of 5,445 points on Saturday at the Bulldog Heptathlon at the University of Georgia. Senior Kaity Lambracht placed third (5,240) and sophomore Uhunoma Osazuwa finished fourth (5,096 points), also posting NCAA Provisional-qualifying marks.

ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Jillian Drouin captured the heptathlon crown with an NCAA Provisional-qualifying tally of 5,445 points on Saturday at the Bulldog Heptathlon at the University of Georgia. Senior Kaity Lambracht placed third (5,240) and sophomore Uhunoma Osazuwa finished fourth (5,096 points), also posting NCAA Provisional-qualifying marks.
On Saturday, Drouin led the field in the javelin toss with a BIG EAST-qualifying distance of 37.04m. She also qualified for the conference championship in the long jump with a distance of 5.78m.
Lambracht posted the top time in the 800m run with a time of 2:23.74. She tallied a distance of 5.52m in the long jump and 35.96m in the javelin toss.
The Orange boasted the top three amateur scores while unattached Sarah Gretzmacher finished second.
In open action of the Spec Towns Invitational, graduate Sheron Mark tallied her second NCAA Regional mark in as many days with a second-place finish and distance of 6.11m in the long jump. Mark qualified for the NCAA Regional on Friday in the triple jump with a mark of 12.96m.
Junior Bernard Bush qualified for the IC4A Championship in the long jump with a third-place mark of 7.27m.
