Della Giustina Named Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Bill Della Giustina, a member of the men’s crew team, is the Syracuse University Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 7.

Della Giustina, a Springfield, Mass., native is a seven-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll honoree. He is majoring in accounting.

Della Giustina sat in the 7-seat of the 3V eight during the 2006-07 season. He was part of the JV eight at the Head of Genesee and finished second at the Eastern Sprints. The Orange men’s crew team won the Men’s Collegiate Varsity International Petite at the San Diego Crew Classic in the spring season opener on April 6.

Syracuse returns to action in Washington, D.C. for the George Washington Invitational – Ten Eyck Cup on Saturday, April 12.
