
Conrad and Kee Earn BIG EAST Accolades

PROVIDENCE – Syracuse University field hockey junior forward Lindsey Conrad and freshman back Amy Kee were both named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for their performances against Georgetown and Dartmouth last weekend. It is the third conference honor of the season for Conrad, who was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year on Sept. 29 and to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Aug. 31. It is Kee's fourth honor of the season, as she was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14 and to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Sept. 21 and Aug. 31.
Conrad recorded eight points off three goals and two assists in Syracuse's 10-0 victory versus BIG EAST foe Georgetown on Saturday. The eight points rank tied for third on SU's single-game list. The junior registered 10 shots in SU's 2-0 win against Dartmouth on Saturday. Conrad is now tied for seventh in career goals (33) and is eighth in career points (82). Conrad's 31 points this season rank 10th on SU's single-season chart.
Kee registered six points off two goals and two assists in Syracuse's two games last week. Kee tallied four points off one goal and two assists in SU's 10-0 BIG EAST victory versus Georgetown. The freshman added the insurance goal in SU's 2-0 win against Dartmouth.
Syracuse extended its win streak to 10 after defeating Georgetown 10-0 on Oct. 9 and Dartmouth 2-0 on Oct. 11. Four of SU's last five wins have been shutouts. The Orange outshot its opponents 91-10 last week and held a 40-5 advantage in penalty corners.
In its only game of the week, Syracuse travels to No. 7 Connecticut on Oct. 17.
