The Orange volleyball team enters day two of Big Orange Tournament action at Manley Field House on Saturday, August 29 with matches against Siena (12:30 p.m.) and Sacramento State (7 p.m.) rounding out the teams tournament slate.
Syracuse secured a commanding victory in its season-opening match against New Hampshire, 3-0, on day one of tournament play, trailing only once during the entire three-set match. Senior outside hitter Kacie MacTavish led the Orange with 14 kills, while freshman setter Laura Homann dished out 39 assists in her collegiate debut.
Day two of tournament action will also feature Sacramento State against New Hampshire at 10 a.m. and Siena versus New Hampshire at 4:30 p.m. Fans are invited to follow all the action via livestats.
The Big Orange All-Tournament team and tournament MVP will be announced following the 7 p.m. match.
