SU Earns National Academic Team Award

SYRACUSE – For the fifth consecutive year the Syracuse University's field has been named as one of 63 NCAA Division I programs to earn the 2008 National Team Award from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for having a team cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and higher.

The back-to-back BIG EAST Regular Season Champions (18-4) ended their season with a second round loss in the NCAA Tournament. It marked the second consecutive season SU won a NCAA Tournament game.

The Orange welcomes back 18 members of the 2009 squad.
