Little Earns First Career BIG EAST Honor

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Erin Little earned her first career BIG EAST weekly honor for leading the Syracuse University volleyball team to a perfect 3-0 week.
Little recorded double-digit kills in every match this week with 10, 14 and 11, respectively. The Glenville, N.Y. native had a hitting percentage of .500 or better in two of the three matches.
She began the week with 10 kills on 17 attempts as SU swept Binghamton. Little then connected on 14 spikes against Rutgers and hit at a .500 clip.
In her final match of the week, Little filled up the stat sheet in Syracuse's 3-1 victory against Seton Hall with 11 kills, six assists, eight digs and five blocks.
Little is the fourth SU player to earn weekly honors this season along with Andrea Fisher, Sam Hinz and Noemie Lefebvre.
The Orange (16-8, 5-3) is on the road this coming weekend with matches at West Virginia (5-15, 3-6) on Saturday and at Pittsburgh (14-10, 4-5) on Sunday.
