PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. – Fresh off a sweep of Army Friday afternoon, the Syracuse tennis team did it again with a 7-0 thumping of BIG EAST foe St. John's Saturday afternoon at the Port Washington Tennis Academy. The sweep is the third straight and sixth so far this season for the Orange (13-4, 5-0), who is in the midst of a three-day, three-match road swing this weekend.
Syracuse remains undefeated so far this season in conference play and evens up its record on the road to 4-4. The 'Cuse will look to remain undefeated in the BIG EAST and improve to .500 on the road in a matchup with another conference opponent, Rutgers, Sunday morning at the Atlantic Club in Manasquan, N.J..
