Page Named to USA U19 Team

Syracuse University incoming field hockey freshman Jordan Page was named to the USA Under 19 National Team. Page will be invited to weekend at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. in early 2012 and from there the touring teams will be selected.
Potential tours for 2012 include the top Junior National Team athletes to play with the Women's National Team Developmental Squad versus an international side who would visit Chula Vista in the first quarter of 2012. The U19 team will reciprocate Canada's visit from earlier this year and visit our neighbors to the North to compete in a four game test series.
Page comes to Syracuse with an impressive resume. The US U19 and U17 team member was also named a First-team All-American in 2010. She is also a three-time Lancaster-Lebanon League First Team honoree. Page recorded 66 goals and 72 assists during her high-school career, including 26 goals and 26 assists her senior year.
Page and her Orange teammates open the 2011 season against Monmouth on Saturday, August 27 at J.S. Coyne Stadium. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
