Lefebvre, Team Canada 0-2 in Prelims at World University Games

SHENZHEN, China – Noemie Lefebvre and Team Canada dropped its first two matches in volleyball at the World University Games.
Canada was shutout by Poland in its opening match, 3-0 (19-25, 17-25, 26-28) on Sunday. Lefebvre had one attempt in the contest. Canada then fell to Chinese Taipei, 3-1 (27-25, 15-25, 22-25, 22-25) on Monday. Lefebvre had four attempts in match two.
Canada will face France in its final preliminary match Tuesday evening and will need to win and also receive help to reach the quarterfinals.
