Lefebvre’s Defense Lifts Canada Past France, 3-1

SHENZHEN, China – Noemie Lefebvre recorded a team-high 14 digs as Team Canada volleyball corralled a 3-1 victory against France in its final preliminary match at the World University Games.
Behind Lefebvre's defense, Canada took a four set decision (27-25, 13-25, 25-19, 25-18). The Syracuse senior captain led the Canadians in digs every match, contributing three digs against Poland and 15 against Chinese Taipei.
Canada finished the World University Games at 1-2 and third place in Group C, failing to reach the knockout stage of the competition.
