SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Fans can get their first look at the 2012-13 Orange on Thursday, Nov. 1 when Syracuse hosts Pace in an exhibition game. Tip off is set 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
Tickets for Thursday's exhibition game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Fans not in attendance can watch the game live on Time Warner Sports and SNY or listen to the action on 97.7 ESPN Radio in Syracuse. Live video and audio will be available on Orange All Access on SUathletics.com. Subscriptions to Orange All Access are available at daily, monthly and yearly rates.
Syracuse finished last season with a 34-3 record and won the BIG EAST regular-season title for the second time in three years. The Orange returns two of its top five scorers from a year ago. Senior Brandon Triche averaged 9.4 points per game, which third on the squad, while junior C.J. Fair was fifth with an 8.5 per game average.
Pace was 13-14 overall last season and 11-11 in Northeast-10 Conference play, which was good for seventh place. The Setters return a pair of NE-10 all-conference selections in Denzel Primus-Devonish and Keon Williams. Primus-Devonish led the team with 13.4 points per game, while Williams was second on the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game. He also led the team on the boards, grabbing 6.6 rebounds per contest.
