
No. 73 Syracuse takes on Temple and Rutgers this weekend at Drumlins

Harman, Tennis Cracks National ITA Rankings

SKILLMAN, N.J. – Coming off back-to-back wins over ranked opponents, the Syracuse University tennis team (5-3) has entered the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Top 75 national rankings.
The Orange checks in at No. 73 after defeating No. 55 Boston College and No. 60 Harvard last weekend in Boston. Both victories were 4-3 decisions.
Syracuse's top singles player Emily Harman has also cracked the charts at No. 93. Harman holds a singles mark of 7-1 and is riding and seven match winning streak. She is 2-1 against other nationally ranked opponents this season.
The team ranking and Harman's individual singles ranking are program firsts under the watch of head coach Luke Jensen.
The Orange has two home contests this weekend at Drumlins Tennis Club against Temple on Saturday and against conference foe Rutgers on Sunday. Saturday's match begins at 11:00 a.m., while the Sunday contest with Rutgers is at 10:00 a.m.
