Crews Welcome Walk-Ons For Tryouts

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse men's and women's rowing teams will a joint informational meeting for interested walk-ons on Monday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. in Archbold Gym North, room 100. No previous rowing experience is necessary. Tryouts will begin on Aug. 28.
The Orange crew teams both have long-standing legacies of walk-ons being major contributors to the program. They are looking for athletes from other sporting backgrounds who want to try something new and continue their competitive careers in college.
Orange rowers and coaches will also be on the SU quad periodically this week with information on the teams and the sport.
If you cannot attend the informational meeting but are interested, contact the coach for the respective team below.
