SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse tennis team will look to extend its two-game home court winning streak this weekend hosting Binghamton and Pittsburgh at the Drumlins Tennis Center on Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16.

The Orange did not compete last weekend, but have been hard at work this week preparing for its second conference matchup of the season against the Panthers. Fans attending Friday's face off against the Bearcats can enjoy a free slice of pizza courtesy of Tops Friendly Markets.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
Binghamton is out to a 2-3 start in 2013, after halting a three-game losing streak with a pair of wins against Sacred Heart and Seton Hall. Freshman Sara Kohtz led the Bearcats with a3-0 weekend, for a 7-6 singles record this season. Pittsburgh is 3-2 in 2013, with one conference loss to Georgetown. Amanda Wickman is leading the Panthers tennis squad in wins with a 5-0 singles record and a 5-0 doubles record with Molly Wickman.

SUPER STREAKING:
Several SU tennis student-athletes are leading the way with unbeaten streaks in singles and doubles competition. Sophomore Amanda Rodgers has won the last four straight singles matches on court three, while sophomore
Breanna Bachini is has won her last two singles matches on courts five and six. The duo of Rodgers and Komal Safdar have also combined for a trio of doubles victories, with wins against Boston College and Navy.

UP NEXT:
Following this weekend's matches, the Orange will depart for a two-match road swing traveling to Illinois on Friday, Feb. 22 and wrapping up the weekend at DePaul on Sunday, Feb. 24.
