Rowing Home Regatta Moved to Sunday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â Due to high winds forecasted for Saturday, Syracuse women's rowing lone home regatta of the season has been moved to Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. The Orange faces Dartmouth and No. 8 Harvard-Radcliffe for the O'Leary Cup.

Racing at the James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse on the Onondaga Lake Outlet will begin with the third varsity eights at 11 a.m. and conclude with the varsity eights at noon.

The regatta was originally scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, but the forecast of 20-30 mph winds out of the west prompted the coaches to make the change to Sunday, when eight mph winds out of the north and sun are expected.
