'Syracuse Legends and Stars' Event Set For Sept. 15

Syracuse fans can meet some of their favorite current and past Orange at the fifth annual 'Syracuse Legends and Stars' on Sunday, Sept. 15. The event will take place from 12 – 3 p.m. in the arena at Manley Field House. Syracuse head coaches Jim Boeheim, Scott Shafer, John Desko, Gary Gait and Quentin Hillsman are scheduled to make appearances.
Coaches, student-athletes and stars from previous years will meet kids and families, sign autographs, take photos and lead sports contests. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Elmcrest Children's Center, a multi-service treatment and education center for children with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric disabilities.
Raffles, featuring exclusive signed SU memorabilia, as well as food and drink will be available for purchase. There will also be special event t-shirts and live music.
Advanced tickets are on sale now at Tops Markets for $10 for adults and $5 for children. Kids ages three and under are free. Tickets at the door will be available for $13 for adults and $7 for children.
