
Ulbrich Honored By US College Sport

Named Division I Player of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Freshman back Annalena Ulbrich of the No. 10 Syracuse field hockey team was named the US College Field Hockey Division I Player of the Week, as announced on Wednesday by US College Sport.
Ulbrich helped Syracuse to victories against then-No. 5 Louisville and Cornell this past weekend. The Hannover, Germany native tallied two goals in the team's 5-0 win at Cornell.
In her first season on campus, Ulbrich currently leads the squad in goals scored (10). She currently ranks 27th in the nation in goals per game, averaging 0.77 goals per contest.
The Syracuse field hockey team returns to the pitch on Saturday afternoon when it takes on Wake Forest on the road. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. in Winston-Salem, N.C.
