Syracuse records 67 rebounds in victory against Canisius
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 19/22 Syracuse University women's basketball team owned the glass in a 70-37 victory against in-state foe Canisius on Tuesday night in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse outrebounded its opponent by 36 boards, its largest rebound margin during the 2014-15 season.
Â
"A great game by our kids tonight," head coach Quentin Hillsman said. "We just wanted to come out there and limit their 3-point attempts. They shot at 40 percent beyond the arc it and that's a concern when you are a zone team. We let up too many 3-point attempts, but our kids did an awesome job just taking those away."

Â
"We had 67 rebounds, which is tremendous," added Hillsman. "I give our kids a lot of credit going after every miss. We boxed out to get on the glass on the defensive end. I thought that our entire team played well and I'm just really happy of the win."
Â
