Hehir also captured silver in the 5,000-meters to contribute a team-best 18 points for the Orange. Shaina Harrison finished the highest for the women's team with a second place finish in the 100-meter dash and Margo Malone contributed the most team points with two third place finishes in the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter run for 12 points. Malone's time of 33:15.02 in the 10,000-meters set a new school record in the event. The men's team finished sixth place with 72 points and the women's team finished 11th place with 36 points.
Last year at the Penn Relays, Pollitt took second place in the men's 110-meter hurdles championship race with a time of 13.85 seconds. In the same race, Amadou Gueye placed fifth with a time of 14.03. In the men's IC4A Championship 400-meter relay Syracuse placed fourth with a time of 41.25.
