SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse volleyball team looks to bounce back on Halloween weekend, hosting ACC opponents Georgia Tech on Friday and Clemson on Sunday in the Women's Building. This will be the Orange's second face off against Clemson of the 2015 season, with the Orange looking for its second consecutive victory against the Tigers. The game against Clemson will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
After a pair of losses to #17 Florida State and Miami this past weekend in Florida, the Orange look to regain its winning streak and pick up its seventh ACC win of the season. The Orange are currently sixth in the ACC standings, posting a 6-4 conference record and a 15-6 overall record.
PREVIEWING GEORGIA TECH (14-8, 5-5 ACC)
This will be the fifth meeting overall between the Orange and the Yellow Jackets, with Syracuse notching a 3-1 advantage in the series dating all the way back to 1989. The Orange look to get its fourth win in the series after the Yellow Jackets won their last matchup against the Orange in 2014.
Georgia Tech falls three spots behind 'Cuse in the ACC standings, currently ranked ninth in the conference with a 5-5 record and a 14-8 overall record.
Junior outside hitter Teegan Van Gunst leads the 2015 squad with 324 kills so far on the season and 359 points. She ranks first in the ACC with 4.05 kills per set and 4.49 points per set.

This will be the seventh meeting between the Orange and the Tigers, including the second meeting this season. The teams most recently met back in September at Clemson, with Syracuse coming out victorious in four sets. With the win, the Orange evened out the overall series, 3-3.
Clemson ranks 15th in the ACC, posting a 0-10 conference record and a 5-17 overall record. Junior outside hitter Leah Perri leads the 2015 Tigers with 267 kills so far on the season, averaging 3.47 kills per set. Libero Keelie Arneson leads the ACC in digs, averaging 5.0 digs per set and totaling 375 so far on the season.
