Field Hockey Secures Top Seed in NCAA Tournament

The Syracuse field hockey team (17-1) is the top seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host the winner of Tuesday's play-in game between Kent State and UMass in Saturday's first round game at J.S. Coyne Stadium.
Maryland and Princeton will also square off in Syracuse on Saturday, with the winners of both first round games playing on Sunday at 2 p.m. for a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Final Four.
Syracuse will play Kent State or UMass in the first game on Saturday, at 11:30 a.m., with Maryland and Princeton taking the field at 2 p.m. for the second game of the double header.

The Orange is looking for its second-straight appearance in the Final Four after making the program's first-ever title game last season.
