After guiding her team to the program's first National Championship and first national title by any women's program at Syracuse University, head coach Ange Bradley has been named NFHCA Mideast Region Coach of the Year.
Bradley, who led the Orange to a 21-1 record, including a perfect 16-0 in the regular season was also named ACC Coach of the Year.
Bradley's Coach of the Year honor in the conference was part of the Orange sweeping all-four major awards (Alma Fenne, ACC Offensive Player of the Year; Alyssa Manley ACC Defensive Player of the Year; Roos Weers, ACC Rookie of the Year), marking the first time since 1992 that any team has done that.
The ninth-year leader of the Orange has been named coach of the year in her conference five times since arriving in Syracuse and seven times during her 19-year head coaching career. The 2008 National Coach of the Year, Bradley owns the fourth-highest winning percentage among active NCAA Division I coaches.
