
Manley Leads Team USA to 2-0 Start at Pan-Am Games

The Orange senior saw action in both U.S. wins
Syracuse midfielder Alyssa Manley and the U.S. field hockey team are off to a fast start at the 2015 Pan-Am Games, rolling to two lopsided victories in pool play to start the tournament.
On Monday, the U.S. team defeated Uruguay 5-0 and followed it up with another shutout, taking down Chile 2-0 on Wednesday after scoring a pair of goals in the first-13 minutes to move to first place in Pool B.
Manley, the rising senior who was a Longstreth/NFHCA First Team All-American last year, saw action in both contests as a substitute.
Next up for Team USA is the final match of pool play, when the squad will take on Cuba at 9 a.m. in Toronto, Ontario.
