'Cuse vs. Indiana
- The Orange will renew its series with the Hoosiers on Sunday as the two teams face off for the second time in series-history, and the second time in as many years.
- Syracuse defeated Indiana, 3-1, in the first matchup between the two sides last season. Liz Sack scored the game's first goal and Erin Gillingham netted the game's final tally for her second career goal in Bloomington last season.
- Fans in attendence on Sunday will also get a free pair of Syracuse gloves.
Saluting the Seniors
- Sunday's game will be Senior Day, honoring the Orange's five seniors.
- Those seniors are Liz Sack, Serra Degnan, Emma Lamison, Regan Spencer and Lydia Fowler.
- The three four-year seniors (Degnan, Sack and Spencer) have combined for the second-best winning percentage over four years in program history. Their 69-13 (.840) record since the start of the 2013 season sits only percentage points behind the 2015 class' mark, which combined for a 74-14 (.841) record.
- In addition to the three seniors who've been here for all-four years of their career, they were joined by Lamison last year to be key contributors to the 2015 NCAA Championship squad, with Lamison scoring the eventual game-winner in the NCAA title game last season.
- Fowler is in her first season with the orange as a goalkeeper.
Home Field Advantage
- Syracuse is seeking its second-consecutive season where the team finishes the regular season unbeaten at J.S. Coyne Stadium.
- While the turf is different this season after undergoing a renovation in the offseason that put a new state the art surface in the stadium, the Oramge has won 21-straight games on their home field. 'Cuse has outscored opponentsÂ
- Only UConn has a longer current home winning streak at 26-straight games. North Carolina has the third-longest at 20.
- Since 2008, Syracuse is 79-4 at home, which is good for a .952 winning percentage.
ACC Tournament Field Set
- At the conclusion of ACC regular season play, the Orange earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament, behind only top-seeded Duke.
- Syracuse will square off with 7th-seeded Wake Forest on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the first round of the conference tournament.
- The winner of that game will face the winner of Thusday's matchup between 3rd-seeded Boston College and 6th-seeded Virginia in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 4.
- Rounding out the tournament field, the four seed, Louisville, and the five seed, North Carolina, will play a first-round matchup on Thursday, with the winner advancing to play Duke on Friday.
