
#24 Orange Travel To #6 Duke, #55 NC State

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 24 Syracuse women's tennis team travels to North Carolina this weekend to take on Atlantic Coast Conference opponents No. 6 Duke in Durham on Friday at 3 p.m. and No. 55 North Carolina State in Raleigh on Sunday at 10 a.m.
The Orange (8-1, 2-1 ACC) are coming off a closely contested 4-3 victory over No. 31 Notre Dame in ACC play. Freshman Dina Hegab remains undefeated and now posts a singles record of 8-0 on the season, while Gabriela Knutson is 7-1 in singles.
Doubles pair of Knutson and junior Valeria Salazar are coming off a victory and remain unbeaten at 4-0.
SCOUTING DUKE Â
Duke (9-1, 2-0 ACC) is currently on a 5-game win streak after defeating ACC opponents No. 21 Miami and No. 71 Florida State. They are led by freshmen Kaitlyn McCarthy, who is currently 20-5 overall, and Jessica Ho who is 10-5 overall.
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA STATE
NC State (6-3, 0-2 ACC) is coming off a 2-game slump to ACC opponents No. 33 Georgia Tech and No. 19 Clemson. Junior Martina Frantova leads the Pack at 20-7 overall, as sophomore Tayla Stenta is 14-10 overall.
