Orange Post Strong Showings at Four Events

Freddie Crittenden III's personal-best time of 13.48 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational highlighted a packed weekend for the Syracuse track and field team.
Crittenden's time improved on the third-best time in the country this season, taking first in the event and was just 0.04 seconds off Jarret Eaton's school record.
Syracuse also sent runners to the Virginia Challenge, Cornell Upstate Challenge and Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational.
Behind Crittenden, Donald Politt finished second in 13.74 seconds, with David Gilstrap (6th/14.16 seconds) and Richard Floyd (7th/14.24 seconds) also reaching the finals in the event.
At the Virginia Challenge, three members of the Orange competed in highly competitive top section of the 1500-meters. Justyn Knight finished second in 3:39.23 seconds, which broke his own school record from last year.
Virginia's Henry Wynne, who won the NCAA indoor championship in the mile, edged Knight by under a second. Adam Palamar took fifth in 3:40.49. Mickey Burke and Philo Germano finished in 40th and 42nd respectively in 3:49.15 and 3:49.34.
T.J, Hornberger competed in the same event at the Cornell, taking third in 4:05.12.
Colin Bennie finished fourth in the 5k, crossing the line in 13:54.77. Orange alum, Martin Hehir, finished third, right in front of Bennie. Dan Lennon (14:23.95) finished 22nd as well.
Also at Auburn, Shaina Harrison finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.79 seconds. Orange alum Flings Owusu-Agyapong won the event, finishing in 11.30 seconds. Victoria Parker finished 15th in the event as well.
Kadejhia Sellers turned in another top-10 performance for the Orange, crossing the line in 54.49 seconds in the 400-meters. Brittany Belo was right behind in seventh place (55.73 seconds).
Tia Thevenin finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.57 seconds as well, with Regine Hunter finishing eighth in the triple jump, leaping to 12.06 meters.
In addition, Winston Lee finished 12th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.56 seconds.
At Princeton, Margo Malone led the way in the 1500, turning in a 10th-place performance, finishing in 4:29.12.
In the 5k, Maura Linde finished seventh to lead three Orange runners into the top-15. She crossed the line in 16:59.54, with Rebecca Skodis (ninth/17:06.54) and Mary Malone (14th/17:18.09) right behind.
Pascal Bastein won the long jump at Cornell, leaping to a distance of 6.87 meters, with teammate Randall Johnson right behind in 6.50 meters. Jabari Butler cleared 2.06 meters in the high jump at Auburn as well, which was good for ninth.
Shasche Allen finished second in the 400-meters, finishing in 1:01.24 seconds followed closely by Natalie Zazzara, Maya Perry and Nia Gibson, who finished fifth, ninth and 11th, respectively.
Emily Nist led the way for 'Cuse in the 1500, crossing the line in 4:57.18, which was good for 13th.
