The U.S. U-21 team also qualified for the junior World Cup
Laura Hurff and the U-21 USWNT advanced to the Junior Pan American Games Championship and captured a berth in the 2016 Junior World Cup with their victory over Chile in Thursday's semifinal.
The U.S. team, which has outscored its opponents 40-1 over the course of the tournament, will face the other undefeated team in the field – Argentina – for the gold on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Hurff, who has played in every game in the USA midfield, is looking to become the second Pan-Am Games gold medalist from the Orange this year alone, after Alyssa Manley won gold and qualified for the Olympics with the U.S. Senior National Team this summer in Canada at the Pan American Games.
